The
NEXUS study “Beyond Remittances” is assessing the development
impact of Migration-related financial flows in South-east Europe. Working
with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), a series of
country studies will analyse linkages between savings behaviours of migrant communities in
Austria and investment opportunities in their countries of origin.

On behalf of the
International
Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), NEXUS experts carried
out a Study on
Out/Migration, Trafficking and AIDS and a Study on Migration, Remittance
and Savings Behaviours, covering Armenia and Moldova. |

In Albania, a NEXUS expert
carried out a study for the
International Organisation for Migration (IOM), highlighting
means by which Albania can benefit from migration-related finance flows.
The study
represents an integral component of the Albanian National Action Plan on
Migration. |

Europe (OSCE) Mission in Kosovo, a NEXUS expert
researched the viability
of establishing an Office of the Kosovo Rapporteur in Trafficking in Human
