Austrian Bank  for Development (OeEB) - Maximising the Development Impact of Migration

Working with the Austrian Bank for Development (OeEB) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM, the study analyses linkages between migrant communities in Austria and investment opportunities in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The objective is to work with financial intermediaries and governments to identify savings-investment-employment models of relevance to migrants as a distinct market-segment. The focus is on supporting migrants to achieve their migration objectives as they relate to income generation activities, remittances and savings; then directly linking these behaviours and resulting financial flows with viable financial intermediation, investment opportunities, and hence sustainable development.
